Equal parts water and flour by weight not volume. This is where there can be some confusion. So, if measuring by weight, one feeding is equal to 4 ounces of flour and 4 ounces of water. If by volume, 1 c. of flour and 1/2 c. of water is one feeding. The feedings are always going to be the same unless you would like to increase the starter at some some point. Simply feed 2 c. of flour and 1 c. of water, without discarding any. Have fun! Elisabeth@KAF
