I am on day 6 going on day 7 of my starter and it seems as if it has become fairly stagnant . On day 3, I took (2) 4 oz measurements of the starter and put them in separate bowls, so I could keep one for myself and get another going for a friend. I continued the feedings as instructed on both. One of the starters that day became very active and doubled in volume, while the other just grew a little and had a few medium sized bubbles on top. Since then, both of the starters have only been producing a few medium sized bubbles on top and not growing in volume at all. I live in Florida, my house is consistently 72-73 degrees, am using KA Unbleached AP Flour, and am doing the twice/day feedings right at every 12 hours. Any comments or recommendations?
