Hi! I am on day 7 (or 6 or 8, what is time!?) of my starter and it has been doubling in size and producing bubbles throughout the starter consistently after feedings for the past two days, but the surface has does not look as bubbly nor as liquid as your pictures above. I have been using whole wheat flour to feed to starter (it is all I have right now). Could that be why? Would you suggest continuing with the twice-a-day feedings for a bit longer?
