I was also curious about the 4 oz = 1 scant cup. When I measured 1 cup of flour to 1/2 cup of water, my mixture was extremely dry. I am on Day 2 and just added 1/2 cup flour & 1/2 cup water. Should I just weigh my 4oz of flour tomorrow instead of using a measuring cup? Did I mess it up already?
