Hi! I tried to get a starter going yesterday and by today it was very bubbly but it smelt quite off to me, kind of sour and slightly alcoholly. I threw it away and started with a new batch today anyway. But any ideas why it gone off so quickly? I used whole wheat flour and unchlorinated water as suggested and left it at room temperature. Thanks lots :)
