It is, Jane! We recommend getting it started a little differently, but the maintenance is much the same. We'd recommend following our recipe for Gluten-Free Sourdough Starter, rather than trying to adapt this one. Also keep in mind that a gluten-free starter won't have the same leavening power as a wheat-based starter, but it can lend a lovely tang to your baked goods. Mollie@KAF
