Hi! Everything was going splendidly with my starter until this morning (Day 4), when I wasn't paying attention during its morning feed and forgot to discard before feeding with distilled water and KAF All-Purpose! Panicking, I then weighed out the proper amount, discarded the rest, and feed the remainder (which technically I had already fed!!). Will this ruin my starter? It's still bubbling pretty vigorously, and smells a bit bready, but I'm still nervous it won't turn out! Thanks so so so much! PS. Also, my starter doesn't seem to be rising so well (at least not to the extent of the others on this blog...)! I've been feeding it according to the instructions, and I've put it in a 75 degree room, right under the heat vent, but it doesn't seem to double every 12 hours like you've said it should.! What should I do differently?
