That is a ridiculous amount of work, worry, and water wrangling for a loaf of bread. Temperature control, space, constant feeding, special water, mess when it bubbles over....jeesh. Its a wonder people didn't starve waiting for it to be done. It better be the best dang loaf of bread in the world cuz you can't eat cachet.
