Created a starter using this recipe a few weeks ago...love it! Not too strong but works great. Gave one of the discards to a friend. Since then have used all discards! First recipe made with it was the Buttery Sourdough Rolls. Doubled the recipe though as had one cup sourdough discard. Used half of the dough then for buttery rolls and the other half for cinnamon rolls. Very delicious. Made a the Sourdough Carrot Cake recipe and the chocolate sourdough cake, both are delicious (our dogs particularly like the carrot cake one...lol). Then today decided to use the starter to make Sourdough biscuits...they were the best biscuits have ever made! Light, fluffy, nice crust, tasty, but not acidic nor tasted like baking powder. Will definitely will use that recioe again. Think next time though am going to add buffalo cheese and bacon!
