Doesn't flax meal cause baked goods to brown more? Perhaps adding some golden flax meal would help with the browning without changing the flavor. I've noticed that the golden version of flax meal also doesn't change the texture of baked goods a lot. Flax's oil is supposed to help brown baked goods, it's true - I'll have to try this, Robyn, thanks! PJH
