Hi Rosy, that's a tricky question. While it's true that most of the alcohol content will evaporate during baking, we're not able to guarantee that the cake will be alcohol-free by the time it's done. (It depends on many factors like the kind of alcohol used, the kind of fruit, how long it's soaked, etc.) We encourage you to make a judgement call that makes you feel most comfortable. We love the flavor of the rum or brandy-soaked fruits, but it is most definitely still delicious when made with another flavorful liquid like apple or cranberry juice. Happy baking! Kye@KAF
