I want to try this recipe but I am allergic to corn syrup. Could I use Maple Syrup in place of the corn syrup? Thanks much! Yes, Pam, that's fine. If you use "fake" maple syrup, the cake won't be quite as sweet, that would be the difference. Enjoy! PJH
