Somebody goofed - that is definitely a block of cream cheese. Really don't think it belongs in the pic as it can be misleading. You can see the pats of butter, they are seperate. That is actually a block of butter. We buy 1 pound blocks so the pieces can be a bit large if the butter is going to be melted.-Jon
