Im attempting this right now!! Its in the oven as I type this. I changed the recipe around a little bit, but not much. I live a few miles from the Elegant Farmer and LOVE the regular cookie type crust, so that is what I am trying to do rather than the crumble topping. I also used 7 granny smiths. Ive never baked anything in a brown bag before, and Im noticing an odd smell. I assume its the inks on the bag. I cant wait to see how this turns out! If its a success, Ill make it for Thanksgiving!
