You're welcome to take this approach, Joyce, if you are careful to avoid a few things. 1. Avoid overbaking by checking for doneness early and often. Thin cakes will bake faster than thicker cakes. A toothpick should come out clean when they're done. 2. Avoid creating a domed top by baking your cakes with cake strips. This helps mitigate the rising effect of the direct heat and will prevent you from having to trim your cake layers (which can be especially tricky when working with such thin layers). If you keep those two things in mind, you should be all set to bake. Enjoy! Kye@KAF
