I was hoping to use this to cover an 8" round layer cake. Would that be possible? If so, should I place the cake on a wire rack and simply pour the fondant over the cake? And if I make a layer cake filled with buttercream icing and fruit should I freeze it before I attempt to cover the cake with the fondant?
