If it’s the type that you can ratchet down by increments yes, but I found the problem came in with the width. It’s just not wide enough. My husband built me a sheeting machine using odds and ends in his shop, PVC for the roller and it works beautifully. Have to say once I figured out how to do the dough so it is malleable (12 hr overnight rest after making the dough, 30 minute rest between each fold and I only do 3 folds), I prefer to roll it out by hand using a french style rolling pin.
