I tried this yesterday and had trouble at almost every step :( Can you please help me troubleshoot?
First, I used the bread machine to make the dough. No amount of extra flour could make the dough less sticky. Eventually, I went over the recommended extra amount, and it was still too sticky. In the end, I just took it out and stored it in the refrigerator in cling film. How long would you recommend the dough mix in the bread machine? Any idea what's going wrong here? FYI, I live in India, would it have something to do with the protein content of the flour we have here?

Rolling the sticky dough was hard, obviously. With an inkling of hope, I went ahead anyway and baked them. Surprisingly, they looked nice, but tasted like a delicious bun. So I guess it wasn't a complete failure. Please help for Try 2 :(
