We did a blog article a while back, Katie, comparing how different frosting recipes held up in the heat. Classic Cream Cheese Frosting beat out everything! So rather than altering this recipe, we'd recommend doing a trial run just using cream cheese frosting for best results. Not only does it stand up to the heat, but it also tastes like heaven.
