Geez, why do I always read this blog when I am at work? I want to go home NOW and make some apple pie. I love the idea of freezing unbaked. Is there any difference in freezing single portion (i.e. small) pies or handpies? So far I only froze baked pies but they tend to taste "previously frozen"... I can't see that there'd be any difference in freezing smaller pies, no. Good idea - I should make individual pies and freeze them. They could probably bake in a toaster oven, right? Now THAT would be easy... thanks for the inspiration! PJH
