Certainly, Greg. We'd recommend following the tips from our Pie Filling Thickeners guide: "Quick-cooking tapioca makes filling bright and clear, but also gives it a stippled (and for some, "gluey") texture. Filling mixed with tapioca needs to rest 15 to 30 minutes before baking, for the tapioca to soften."
The guide recommends using 3 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon of quick-cooking tapioca for full 8-cup cherry pie. Happy baking! Annabelle@KAF
