I made two apple pies and baked them. I experimented with freezing them. After they were completely frozen, I baked one frozen, like you would a store bought frozen pie, and it was OK, but the crust was a little tough and apples a little mushy. The other one I just let it thaw out completely and it looked so perfect I cut a piece. Tasted just like a freshly baked pie, without even putting it back in the oven. I'm going to try strawberry/rhubarb next.
