I make apple pie bars for a mid morning snack at work I bake them, let them cool to room temperature, cut and wrap them individually and freeze them. I take them out that a.m. while I'm getting my lunch ready, I put them on top of my frozen gel pack but by the time I eat them which is about 2-3 hours later they're watery. I've made them both with my own homemade pie filling and with store bought and the same thing happens, any ideas how to prevent this watery problem? They're really good otherwise!
