Want to say thanks for all your tempting images! Do not have any Jewish family members or friends but always welcome to learning many traditions and am making this cake TODAY...have the ingredients out right now!! Our community does have a number of vegetarians & vegans who would certainly enjoy this cake & am going to share with two of them for tomorrow. Having sampled vegan food several times I have found so many of them to be a beautiful presentation and have yet to enjoy ANY of them (no matter their beauty). I will try anything once. There seemed one thing missing and even after 4 readings of the instructions---what is the baking temperature? I am assuming 350 deg. as that is the most common for cakes?????? Believe me, I tell everyone if they want to try something different/unique to make or purchase KING ARTHUR is the place to go!! Thanks again, Nancy
