First off thank huge hug and thanks to you and Sue Gray. Second WOW these are amazing! This was my first attempt and they turned out great. Read that someones English mother in law suggested to add 1/8 teaspoon baking soda and I did and I am glad I did! The only thing I did different from the instructions and this comes from my Italian grandmother “always proof your yeast” so I put the milk and water in a measuring cup added about a teaspoon of honey, heated it to 110 then added the yeast and let it proof then added it to other ingredients and mixed as directed. I may never eat English muffins again! One last thing I did use the rings to make them and used homemade bakers pan grease to grease the rings and had no sticking issues I love that stuff! Defiantly going to try to make Brushetta with these. Thank you agian.
