Made these crumpets for breakfast yesterday morning, and they were brilliant! Better than store bought, my husband says. No one wants to wait 2 hours for breakfast, so I prepared the batter the night before and then left it in the fridge over night, and it worked really well. The recipe made too many for breakfast, so toasted some up this morning, and they were still really good. Best enjoyed with butter and Vegemite! (honey was also pretty good). Thank you for this recipe, it will get passed around, I'm sure.
