I've seen the clip thnig done before and I think about it everytime I line something with parchment. But I'm afraid of melting the clip in the oven. Are they okay to go in the oven? for how long?
Monica: they're made of spring steel, and unless your oven gets to blast furnace temperatures (in which case you won't be eating the food you put in it anyway), there's no trouble with having them in the oven. We've used metal t-pins to hold cake strips, paper clips, anything metal is fine. Susan
