Hi PJ! I am going to bake your cake as soon as possible. I will use an old apple from our few trees we have in our yard. Wolf Rivers as they are now ready, and they bake a into a wonderful apple pie. We are lucky in Michigan to have a lot of orchards. But unfortunally we have lost quite a few to city encroachment in our area. Also am going to try boiling down some apple cider. I have never done this before-so am going to try something new. Keep up the good work for us bakers out there. Thanks again for all your wonderful blogs. Holly Steiner
