Sorry, I didn't post sooner, but thank you PJH and all the rest of you lovelies at KAF. My loaves were a bit rounder, and from the looks of it, the "holes" were not as big as yours in the picture but I made baguettes! I had some, okay... one loaf for dinner on Saturday with some cheese and butter as accompaniments. It was delicious, and to think it came out of my oven! Your recipe was on the mark, especially for a newbie baker like me. Glad you had a good time with this recipe, Maria. "Newbie" will soon turn into... oldbie? Seasoned-bie? Expertbie! :) PJH
