1. Yes I have used cake flour, normally the Sofasilk brand, but I have essentially every King Arthur flour, so I need to complete my collection! 2. My girlfriend just got a great new job with the University of Arizona. She's also a serious baker on the side so an opportunity to impress/congratulate her would be great!
