Does this cake freeze well? I wanted to make the layers ahead of time but I don't know for sure when I need the cake because I'm making it to celebrate the arrival of my daughter! 4 weeks till my due date so I thought maybe in another couple weeks I would make the cake and freeze it. I have my Italian Buttercream waiting in the freezer as well. Any thoughts? This cake freezes very well. I usually have a couple of layers in the freezer here for cake emergencies.
