Scoring isn't easy, Frauke, so we're happy to offer some tips! Our blog Scoring Bread Dough will be a good one to check out, but a few quick tips will get you started. If using a razor, be sure to just use one corner, otherwise, it will drag. Dusting the top of your loaf with flour before scoring makes it easier. If using a knife, make sure it's super duper sharp.
