I got an excellent bread that rose high in the pan and even higher in the ovem. However, I have a space between the top (crust) and the bread---maybe about 1/2 inch. I wonder if I let it rise too high before putting it in the over. It was above the top of the pan. Yes, a little too much rise, Tom. But it'll taste just fine.
