This glaze sounds like it dries quite quickly. My Mom and I used to make Italian Anisette cookies and she'd make the glaze with confectioner's sugar and a bit of milk. It always dried and there were never any "wet" cookies when you reached into the huge Tupperware containers that were filled to the rim. However, as of late, my glaze never dries completely. Doesn't matter how long I set the cookies on the wire racks to dry. What am I doing wrong? Not crazy about using corn syrup and I know Mom never did. Thanks!
