This is one of my family's favorite cookies. I always seem to have trouble with my dough cracking, I can hardly wait to try them with your suggestion of adding milk. I often make them and freeze them on a cookie sheet then transfer to a ziplock bag. We tend to eat them straight out of the freezer and not even bake them anymore.
