I would also LOVE a gluten-free version. In the past I've used Pamela's brand mix to make sweet scones and they turned out GREAT. The pancake mix has buttermilk in it, which might be part of the reason it makes a good scone. Their artisan flour mix is lighter and isn't influenced by the almond meal or buttermilk. It makes great biscuits though I haven't tried scones with that one. Bobs Red Mill makes a 1:1 all purpose flour mix. Great for dense southern style drop biscuits, so I may try scones with that mix. But don't confuse it with their original all purpose mix which has bean flours. I like them at times, but they have a definite strong flavor that influences recipes. HTH others who need to cook gluten-free.
