I have leftover bacon in the fridge! I know you are probably wondering why anyone has leftover bacon, but it is because I wasn't home at dinner to eat it. (bacon and eggs for dinner-can't beat that!). Oh wait, yes, I can... making these for breakfast tomorrow. Although I have cream in the fridge, I have always made my scones with milk. What would be the difference if I substituted milk for cream? The scones will be marginally tougher, but don't let that stop you - I concur, this is a wonderful use for your leftover bacon! You may need to use a bit less milk to attain the same dough consistency, so drizzle it in slowly. Good luck - PJH
