I know this blog post is 13 years old, but I just read it today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Your descriptions are so vivid I felt like I was there in the drugstore getting a hot chocolate. There was a drugstore called Fox's Drugs in my grandparents' town in Colorado that I have fond memories of. Anyhow, I'm making these muffins this morning. Thanks for the recipe!
